I was born and raised in North Carolina…and truly nothing can be finer than to be in Carolina  🙂   I consider it one of my greatest privileges to have traveled the world and have been transformed by the ways I have seen God’s love and power at work the hearts of people from every corner of the globe…from the bush tribes of Namibia, to the brothels of Thailand, to the orphanages of Romania, to the Red-Light district of Kolkata, India, to the fishing villages of Sri Lanka. God is alive, God is at work, and God is so so good.

It has been the experiences of receiving God’s tender affection from a young age and seeing His love transform people of all shapes, colors and ages that has caused me to want to live for Him with all I am and all that I have.

I completed my undergraduate degree at Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL studying Political Science and am currently finishing up a Master’s Degree from Wheaton College in Leadership and Evangelism.

I hope to use my gifts of writing and speaking to encourage, equip and empower others in their pursuit of knowing and experiencing the affectionate love and transforming power of God through Jesus Christ.  I currently live with my awesome, humble, godly, inspiring husband and our two (almost three) precious children in the Washington, DC area.
